So these last couple days of cold have been killing me! I miss the BEACH!

Here are the family pictures also :) we did them the same day we did the pictures of Dallis. It was so perfect such a beautiful day. Although the snow was melting very fast so it was pretty wet everywhere. My favorite part is that you can see timp in the background.

We got pictures taken up Provo canyon March 2 right after a snow storm before it all melted. Dallis didn't have a very fun time but she did eat the snow and I love the pictures even without her smiling in all of them :)

STUDENT TEACHER

It is official! I will be starting my student teaching August 21st at Pleasant Grove Jr. High :)

busy...busy... busy

School is officially kicking my butt!!! I had an AMAZING spring break we got family pictures taken up the canyon, then went to HAWAII which was beautiful and so much fun, and then came home and still had 4 days before it was back to school. So we relaxed and even went to see the movie the Lorax with Katie, Brenika, and Grandma :)

All I have done from then until now is school and it is NOT SLOWING DOWN. I find out where I student teach on Thursday :) and have two more presentations this week. I am so excited to almost be done and graduating. And since I will be done with finals soon I will get around to posting more pictures from our fun spring break :)

I LOVE CAMPING and was so excited to take Dallis. Luckily she enjoyed it and even slept good that night. We stayed in the trailer which made it much nicer.


She loved it but would not sleep... This was at 1 and she was just playing with Mom :) happy but crazy

School started ... as you can tell (since I haven't blogged) but things were much easier with NO MOVING. We were able to stay and grandmas and loved it! Having a kitchen to myself was amazing. What can I say I love to cook :)

But Dallis still loves my food :) well she loves peaches and milk the waffles not so much ha

20 Reasons why I love you!!

Happy Birthday Mommy!

1. BARBECUED RIBS :) mmmm.... I love that for every year on my birthday you have made me my favorite dinner and that you have taught me how to make them.

2. Rice Pudding :) another mmmm.... should I just say moms cooking I love it all but for sure those are my two favorites.... well and chocolate chip cookies and of course the PIES

3. A child's Prayer. This song will forever make me think of you Mom. You sang it to me every night when I had a hard time sleeping and I still find myself singing it in my head at night and can hear the sound of your voice

4. Rex, Sierra, Brody, Mr. T, Sam, and there where even lizards and garden snakes and my hamsters Buddy and Sleepy that we could add to that list. You never said no when it came to a pet :) and you always took care of them for me. Except for the lizard ha I cooked him outside in the sun whoops. I still remember when you got me my hamsters it was such a surprise! I loved them!

5. Quilting. I love watching you sit upstairs and quilt :) it is such a great tradition I loved my baby blanket and Dallis carries both of hers around. Thank you for teaching me such an amazing skill that I can carry down to my daughter.

6. The garden. Not so much the vegetables or the work but I love the memories that I have. Every summer morning I would wake up to find you out in the garden weeding in your swimsuit. I think you do it and love it because you love sunshine :) and I wonder why I love it so much too

7. This should be #1! Just being MY MOM! I hope that I can be a great mom like you have been. You are always there for me to talk to or just to hold my hand when I'm sick

8. COKE SYRUP! I think mom is famous for this :) and it works so well!!! Every time I get the flu I have to have my coke syrup poured over crushed ice. You use to deliver it to me in my bed and I would fall asleep with it... spilling it all over the bed but you never got mad just cleaned it up

9, Harry Potter... Thank you for getting me to read. :) You would take me into your room and lay there with just that little lamp on and read to me. I love those books because it is when we would spend so much time together.

10. CAKES, CAKES, and more CAKES. every year I look forward to my birthday because I get a cake that reflects on my life for the year. You always make something so fun and creative and just for me. (and notice that this is in present tense :) meaning I still want my cake on my b-day hehe)

11. I love the way you curse occasionally :) ha when mom slips it is the best. She gets all red in the cheeks because she is so upset that she said a bad word. I love you Mom. I hope I only curse when it is a slip up like yours

12. Ear wax anyone??? If you haven't cleaned your ears out in awhile no worries mom will get it and SHE'S THE BEST! she gets them so clean with a bobby pin ... but make sure you have just got out of the bath or shower :)

13. Dusting. My favorite chore because of you :) When mom would let me dust all the trinkets (even that word just screams mom) on the back of her bed it was more of a reward then a chore :) and I now love to dust because of it

14. LAMBS everywhere... stuffed, statues, ceramic you name it mom has it :) and I love it one of the first things Chase said when he came to the house was "how many lambs are in here??" He actually counted them :) but i'm not sure how many their actually were maybe we should count again ha

15. Holidays :) you made every holiday fun. You would decorate or dress up or cut my sandwich into a heart on valentines day (my personal favorite)

16. Making a balloon over the heater with my blanket to get it warm at night! :) this was the best we (me and monica) would wait by the heaters with our blankets and then catch the warm air when it came on. It made it so that when we would crawl into bed we'd have a nice warm blanket. You just love getting into a warm bed mom since you still use a blow dryer to heat yours up :) or the rice bag

17. Being a grandma :) thanks for loving my daughter so much and always helping me if I need someone to watch her while I'm at school. I love that when I leave her I know she is taken care of.

18. Quotes. Mom is always reading some kind of good quote :) and if you look around the house I think you can count those too.

19. Going to the bathroom with a towel on her legs ha :) Mom is always so modest I had to put this because it is classic mom. If I needed to go into the bathroom for anything when mom was in there she would just say come in but put a towel over her legs :) Does she ever get peace and quiet??? nope that's what makes her the BEST MOM

20. Letters :) moms are the best... a bit of a read but well worth the time. She always puts so much thought into writing a good letter where she lets me know how much she loves me and how proud of me she is. I have saved all of her letters from girls camp and birthdays and anything else :) I just can't get rid of them. I love having something so special that she wrote and put so much thought into

Since it has been six months and my computer likes to crash I will do a monthly catch up with pictures :) it's also nice so I don't forget how crazy the last 6 months were with moving and such.

AUGUST 2011

After we celebrated Dallis' Birthday we were still camping out at Justin's but Dallis didn't mind :) she had fun playing with her new toys

She LOVED her baby :) would drag it all through the house


Since we had free time we tried new hair doos


Since Justin moved we had to leave his house so the renters could come. We were lucky enough to go to Grandma Meibos's empty house and wait for it to sell ... we moved in at the end of the month and Dallis wasn't so sure about the place at first she took several falls down the odd raised living room but loved being there able to run wild with just me and Chase

HELLO family :) fine I guess I will attempt to blog again :) but only because Dallis is getting so big. She changes so much every day. She is starting to learn her colors and just added cow, chicken, and horse to animals that she knows and can make sounds for (her favorite is lion rawrrr...)
